![]() Bush attended Yale University from 1964 to 1968, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1948 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in economics and minoring in sociology. Like his father, Bush was a member of the Yale cheerleading squad and was initiated into the Skull and Bones secret society. ![]() Bush also captained the Yale baseball team and played in the first two College World Series as a left-handed first baseman. Bush was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and was elected its president. Bush enrolled at Yale College, where he took part in an accelerated program that enabled him to graduate in two and a half years rather than the usual four. The oldest senior class society at the university, Skull and Bones has become a cultural institution known for its powerful alumni. Skull and Bones, also known as The Order, Order 322 or The Brotherhood of Death is an undergraduate senior secret student society at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
